Our Skill Building Program is operated under the insurance coverage of Title 19 (Medicaid). This service is provided at no cost to the individuals receiving the services. The Skill Building Program is available for children, adolescents, and adults.
Child and Adolscent Program
Our qualified, trained, and experienced specialists will work one-on-one with you and your child(ren) to assist them in improving skills. Common skills that are worked on include:
- anger management
- communication
- self esteem
- interpersonal
- problem solving

Skill Building Services begin with an initial assessment with a licensed therapist.
Adult Program
The Adult Skill Building Program is available to individuals aged 18 or older. The focus of this program is to assist adults in regaining skills they have lost, such as:
- anger management
- communication
- self esteem
- interpersonal
- problem solving
In addition to these skills, some independent living and employment related skills may also be addressed. The Adult Skill Building Program is in an individual format, meaning that our staff member will meet one-on-one with you in your home to address and work on the areas you have identified as needing improvement.
Group Program
Our Skill building services are also offered in a group format. These are typically opened at the request of a parent, educator, or even a child or adolescent.
