LPHA assessments are evaluations which are often required as an initial assessment before beginning services. These assessments are evaluations conducted by a licensed practitioner of the healing arts and will help determine what services will be beneficial to you and/or your family. Our therapists will explain and discuss the results of the assessment, as well as recommend services, and assist you and/or your family in finding coordinating services.

When parents separate, access visits with children may be a problem. Sometimes, difficulties arise at the time of the exchange of the child between the parents or relatives, or children need supervision during visitations. Life Connections provides a setting where visits and exchanges can take place under the supervision of trained staff. |

The curriculum addresses issues that all adolescent girls face including relationships, social teasing, identity questions, body image, thoughts about the future, popularity, etc. The idea behind the North Star Program is to give girls a structured and supportive place to talk and share with each other. The North Star Girls Group is a program designed to provide both education and support for girls who are entering and moving through adolescence. |

The purpose of this group is to identify how boys deal with challenges that affect them daily, such as following directions in different settings, interacting with others, and developing a sense of identity as they mature. This group will also focus on the relationships with (or lack of) adult male figures such as fathers, male role models (media, entertainment, etc.), and our social and cultural beliefs of how boys develop into men. |
